Hawthorne Audio UltraSilver+ Sound Pipes Interconnects is THE most important link in your audio system. Solid copper wire is an excellent entry level, cost effective way to make your own interconnects/speaker cables. Just rip apart some CAT5/6 cable and you're in business. The results are much better than most affordable commercially available audio cables out there today. Some cables advertised as “silver cables” are not a pure silver design and you'll never know that without looking at the wire makeup. You may never know it because the wire specs are not published. These cables are being advertised as “silver cables” just because SOME wire in them happens to be some form of silver. Maybe not even pure silver, but silver plated copper. I do not like to ramble on however these are things that need to be said because people buy on faith and reputation.
