15" Stackable Add-on Module

As you can well imagine, Diana and I spend a lot of our time thinking up future products or ways to make our existing products more accessible worldwide. Shipping our finished speakers all over the planet is a challenge because we face many restrictions with regards size and weight. I had one idea for a semi, flat pack design that I thought I would address several of these challenges. The idea was to do the majority of the construction here in house with the remainder being done by the customer upon receipt. I call these the "Stackables". We make a module that can be stacked one upon the next to form Duets or even Trios. These modules simply bolt together on site and are easily assembled using basic hand tools. Drivers ship separately and are installed onto the provided driver mounting plates. These mounting plates then mount to the main baffles with the supplied fasteners. While this basic idea was born out of the need to address International shipping challenges it proved to have a second positive outcome. Through this modular approach it is possible to start your finished speaker quest with a single purchase. Start with a Solo equipped with your choice of Silver iris coaxial drivers, either PSI or Sterling’s. Later, as budget permits you can add on additional modules to complete your Duet or Trio. By standardizing the modules size we economize on labor and material usage. This improves our internal efficiency and goes towards keeping our pricing as low as possible. We offer these sized appropriately for use with all of our 10” or 15” drivers. The Base Module comes fully upholstered with a top trim plate and a Base plate. Add on modules come fully upholstered with a divider plate that is color matched to the top and base plates. In building these stackable speakers we simply Stack them up. The coaxial will remain bolted into its module and as you progress, one or more Augie modules are bolted underneath to form a Duet or Trio. Prices are for each individual module and drivers are not included.
